About : The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Northern Railway has issued a notification for the recruitment of Act Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act 1961. Eligible people can apply online for Act Apprenticeships under the Apprentices Act 1961. These positions will provide training at various Northern Railway Divisions, Units, and Workshops. Providing railway training does not guarantee job placement. Employers are not required to give employment to apprentices upon completion of their training. Apprentices are not obligated to take employment with the company. Candidates who are interested in the vacancy information and have met all eligibility requirements can read the notification and apply online.
Important dates:
- Starting date for applying online and paying fees: August 16, 2024.
- Last date for applying online and paying the fee: September 16, 2024.
- Merit Display is expected to take place in November 2024.
Details about the vacancy
Qualification :
- Candidates must have SSC/ Matriculation/ 10th class exam (under 10+2 Exam System) and ITI (Relevant Trade) by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age limit: 15 years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 24 years.
- Age relaxation applies in accordance with the guidelines.
Application fee :
- Fee for all other applicants is Rs. 100/-, while SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates pay Rs. Nil
- Payment Method: Through Online.
